Aaron Gilbert

Aaron Gilbert was thirteen months when he was murdered! Aaron lived at home in Swansea, Wales with his mother and mothers boyfriend. Abuse was suspected months prior to the murder of Aaron, when a call of complaint was placed to the Social Services a letter was sent out to the mother, it was claimed the letter was never received and Aaron's life of abuse continued until the 5th May when the final blow was dealt!

When Aaron's crumpled and broken body was taken the hospital over fifty injuries were recorded on his 13month old body, the cause of death was brain damage from a beating!

Both mother and boyfriend were arrested and charged in connection to the murder. His mother has already been released with a new identity, yet Aaron lays without his identity!

A call was made to the cemetery where Aaron was buried, and we found out that the owner of Aaron's final resting place was none other than his mother! After speaking with cemetery they revoked her ownership and granted us full permission to lay a stone for Aaron!

Even at just thirteen months old Aaron loved football, his favourite team was Manchester United, therefore the stone we have chosen is perfect for this little man, perfect to reflect his life and love.

We are hoping to have a small photograph of Aaron in the stone also with his name and dates etc as he so rightly deserves. We are going to be purchasing this stone from the United Kingdom, so for this project donations are to be made in GBP.

We have now raised the funds for Aaron's stone and it has been paid for, we are now awaiting installation. Once thi occurs we will indeed to be posting pictures. Thank you to all who donated.
