What is The Remember Me Foundation?
We are sure you have many questions on the foundation, we have compiled below, a list of questions and answers that will hopefully include the information you are seeking.
What is the purpose of the 'The Remember Me Foundation'?
The purpose of the Foundation is to provide the children who fell foul to murder a permanent memorial on their final resting place. It is our firm belief that no child should go forgotten, even more so when they were taken in such a cruel act.
Which countries are you active in?
We are based in the United Kingdom, however, we also undertake projects in the United States and Canada.
How do you decide which children you will help?
We have no set criteria, but children with no family and no one able to raise the funds for their memorial will take priority.
We will also alternate between countries if we are able too.
What if I know a child who is need of your help?
We urge you to contact the Foundation, after all, we want to remember every child.
What is your legal status?
As the foundation is based in the United Kingdom, we are unable to become a registered charity until we reach 5,000GBP in donations, therefore we are not as of yet registered. Once we have this will be start the process immediately as we already have the paperwork and documentation ready to go.
How much do the memorials cost?
The cost of the stone varies from design to design and from location to location, we have to take into consideration the cemetery's requirements, as some do not allow memorials with pictures as well other guidelines we must follow. But on each project, we
will place the estimated cost of the memorial, we aim to keep costs down so that we can help remember more children.
Who funds the projects?
We undertake fund raising activities and events and rely solely on donations from the public and the members of the 'The Remember Me Foundation.' For more information on the financial aspect to the Foundation please visit the Donations link in the menu where we aim to answer your questions.
Can I help?
We are always looking for volunteers and advocates to help with the moving forward of the Foundation, please visit the 'Get Involved' link in the menu.
We hope you have found the answer to the question you are looking for, but if you cannot, please do contact us, we would be more than happy to answer your questions.
