Katelynn Angel Sampson

Katelynn Sampson        Katelynn's Grave

3rd August 2008

In January 2008 Katelynn's mother gave up guardianship, Bernice Sampson was dealing with her own problems and felt that Katelynn would have a better chance in the care of one her friends who she had known for quite some time. Bernice contacted social services and let them know of the changes and they verified this was in fact quite okay.

In August 2008, 911 was called and her legal guardians declared that Katelynn had choked to death, it soon became apparent that she had not, she had been beaten until every bone in her little body had been broken her head had been scalped and she was, she was left broken and battered, the Toronto Police Department state this was the worse case of child abuse they had seen in over twenty years!

Katelynn now lays in her final resting with no stone or an permanent memorial of her life! We aim to change this, by providing her with a solid granite grave marker. The picture above is what Katelynn's grave looked like on her birthday in 2009. The picture below it is what we want to give Katelynn.

Update: June 2010, After lots of hard work we have now managed to help Katelynn gain her name back, below is a picture of what Katelynn's final resting place now looks like. Thank you to everyone involved in donating.
